Back to School Support

Send-a-Hug

The Send-A-Hug ministry is our college student outreach. Our goal is to keep our college students involved and connected with the church family. Cards, surprise mailings and other contacts are made to each student throughout the year. You can help in the following ways:
1. Be in prayer for our students as they face challenges.
2. Visit, e-mail or send mail to the young people to let them know that they are being
remembered. Student names and school addresses are available through the church office.
3. Make donations to the Send-A-Hug project through your designated donations.

Send-a-Bear

In conjunction with the Benson Police Department, we provide new stuffed bears for children in crisis. They are distributed at the discretion of members of the Benson PD.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Our group has knitted or crocheted more than 200 prayer shawls for members as well as friends and relatives who are going through life changing/challenging happenings such as cancer, sickness, grief, suffering and loss. Additionally, the shawls are given as tokens of love, friendship and caring. Blessings and prayers are knitted/crocheted into every shawl. Patterns and help are available.
